Karmic Astrology is an understanding of your soul's journey through the lifetimes. An understanding of karma is essential in astrology because your birth chart, that horoscope drawn up at the exact moment and place of your birth, is in fact your karmic pattern.
When you learn the language of the Cosmos, astrology, you see that all your previous lifetimes of experience are encapsulated in that one moment of time. You are a sum total now of everything we have learned and experienced. The person you are now is far more important than the person you were in any previous lifetimes because you have moved on from there, and hopefully you have grown.
Some people may be excited to think that they were a famous writer or personality in a past life but, even if by a remote chance they were, they are still more important today than they were then. We move on through the lifetimes, and when we dwell too much on what we might or might not have been in past lives, this can hold us back from becoming who we are meant to be in this one.
An intuitive astrologer can see, hidden within the complexities and patterns of your birth chart; who you might have been in the past and the type of person you were but, more importantly, the person you can become.
People tend to associate karma with negativity “that’s your karma”, “what goes around comes around”, “you’ll get what you deserve”. In fact, Karma is the great Law of Creation which states that action and reaction is opposite and equal. In other words, it’s not just the bad things we do that get results but everything – good, bad and indifferent. That is why our karmic patterns are a mixed bag and that is why we get challenges as well as opportunities; that is why we face difficulties as well as triumphs. If we never experienced very much and everything was happy all the time, we would not be learning and growing.
Karmic astrology is the study of the growth and evolution of you, the soul, through the challenges and opportunities presented by your karmic pattern. However, we are not just meant to be puppets, pulled here and there by our karma, we are here learning to become more conscious and more aware so that we can understand and master our karma.
For example, when we see that a difficult period is up ahead through looking at certain planetary patterns, we should try to avoid being overly anxious but instead choose to be proactive. There are many things we can do to make a potentially difficult time one in which we actually improve our lives. Karmic astrology is a tool for us to use.
Self knowledge is the key. It always has been and it always will be. The more we know ourselves the more potent we can be in our service to others; and this our true destiny.

The book is very verbose and never really gets to the point. By the end of it I was still waiting for it to begin. The material presented wasn't very insightful and seemed to go on and on about clients and what not. I regret spending the time and money on it and wouldn't recommend it.Product details

For those who may not want to read my whole review and comments, here is the gist of it
- I consider this a good book for those who are looking for an introduction to Karmic Astrology
- Yes, this is different from conventional Astrology. If you're familiar with the concepts of traditional astrology, you may find some pleasant surprises here.
- I would recommend this book, and it is on my Xmas gift list for some dear friends.
- If you're still unsure whether this book is right for you or not, I highly recommend downloading the free sample or reading the preview bits online. Like I said, you might be pleasantly surprised. )

Before proceeding with my full review, I would like to clarify that I know the author personally. Now you may take that to be a bad thing and consider everything I say below to be biased opinion, or you may take it as honest testimony from someone who came to consider Chrissie Blaze as a friend after having the good fortune to be genuinely helped by her.
Before I get to my review, I would like to present a quick rebuttal to the person who posted the 'nasty' review. I think he is missing a few points - Astrology was outlawed by Christianity (as well as other major religions), hundreds of years ago. Western and Vedic astrology (and I can say this having studied both) are just different lenses looking at the same object.
As for what he considers 'bad astrology' and 'watered-down ideas' - I think the book (even in the free sample) makes it absolutely clear that it is not about conventional astrology. "In conventional predictive Astrology, there are extensive rules and determinism with apparently no freedom on your part and no uncertainty."
In the current 'modern' age, we have come to blindly respect and worship the 'old and ancient' to the point where evolution of sciences such as astrology must be locked down into an unchanging concept. And speaking of 'science', I find the idea of 'past lives being unprovable' a self-collapsing argument, because by his own dictum, improvements to future lives would be just as 'unprovable'. In fact, according to scientific theory, one might say even astrology can't be proved. But like the person whose review I'm addressing, I digress.
Here is my honest review of the book
We have complex books available that can help the reader go deep into astrology, and explore the academic side of astrology. However, this book has a different purpose - it addresses the basics in a gentle introduction to karmic astrology for those who may be new to the concept, which is not that uncommon in the English-speaking world. Astrology is still a fringe topic even when it seems so wildly pervasive, and Karmic Astrology even more so. So if you would like to learn about astrology and Karmic Astrology, and how it affects your life and the lives of everyone else, then I recommend this book.
If you want a deep discussion on the subtleties and intricacies of astrology and delve into seriously complex topics surrounding metaphysics, I recommend you visit one of Chrissie's lectures and have an honest discussion with her.
Karmic Astrology and the somewhat different way of thinking about Astrology that it brings about is why I became friends with the author. When stuck in a situation in my life which seemed fated for failure, she taught me that there is always a chance to change things around. (And I am a stubborn SOB with a self-destructive tendencies, so persuading me is a really big thing).
I read this line in another astrology book that I never truly understood until Chrissie really taught me what it meant, which is the essence of Karmic Astrology - "The stars imply, they do not compel."
I have always had interest in Astrology and read a lot about it and sometimes allowed its basic readings to influence my decision making and successfully too. Coming across KARMIC ASTROLOGY has added a whole new dimension to my understanding and appreciation of this Natural Science and taken me into the subject of Re-incarnation and the ultimate purpose of life after life'
