Of the Curiosity Chronicles couples, I love this couple's companionship, mutual respect and genuine feeling of a couple best suited to be together. He allows her space to explore her creative side and self exploration, in a time when women weren't expected to be more than a good hostess and broodmare. I love the give and take when they converse with each other, each respecting what the other brings to the conversation or invention. There's an unspoken comfort that when things gets tough they unequivocally know the other is there to support them. I love Abigail's quirky family, that despite their faults, they're there to support her, no matter what they think of her choices. This keeps her character from being isolated and a bit more grounded in a world that feels real to the reader. I can feel Abigail give her sister the audible eye roll, like I would my own sister.Again, Ms. Morgan left me begging for more than a short story. BTW-I want one of the fans. You'll have to read to this, all too short of a short story, to understand my request.

A very enjoyable read.
The storyline was a nice sequel to the main book. It was a very quick read, and great for filling in a little time.
